Trash cans that actually empty
You should be able to fill a trash can, carry it over to the dumpster, and dump it out. The bags were getting stuck inside, so I’ve been working on that.

In development
The trash can now tips forward while you’re holding it, pauses for a moment, and comes back upright. The wheelbarrow does the same thing, pivoting around its wheel. The trash can tips farther so the opening faces forward and the bags can get out.
There’s a little physics help involved. The bags get a push as the trash can tips, and briefly stop colliding with the trash can itself. Otherwise, a bag can stay wedged against the sides and just come along for the ride.
You can see what you’re carrying
I also made the trash can bigger, with room for three bags, and opened up the inside of the model. It has walls and a floor now, so you can actually see the bags in there.
While I was changing the trash spill, I removed the decorative litter. Everything on the ground in that spill can now be picked up. If it looks like something you need to clean up, you should be able to clean it up.
Getting the bags into the dumpster
One of the checks loaded three bags into a trash can and tipped it. All three came out. Another carried two bags over to the dumpster and dumped them: one went in, and the other landed behind the worker.
So the trash can empties, but where you stand and how you aim still matter. That second result is something to keep checking as I work on the feel of carrying and dumping things.
Thanks for following along.
