Professional:
Kat has a BSBA degree (emphasis: Management) from the University of Tulsa. Originally from St. Louis, MO (Go Cardinals!), she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas in 2005 and started work with Arkansas Business Publishing Group in their IT/Research Department. She worked there for two years and left to become an Event Planner for an association management company. This job also included heavy doses of PR work and website management for various clients, namely the US Green Building Council. After two years of hard work, she made the tough decision to return to her Arkansas Business roots as an Advertising Coordinator in the print and ad design department. After the birth of her child in 2008, she decided to stay home. She currently works on honing her design skills and dreams of making a living via the Interwebs.
Personal:
You will probably not find Kat cleaning or cooking. Instead, you will probably find her curled up in a chair with a book or her laptop. She is a voracious reader and a consumer of The Internet. She must have a book, her phone or her laptop within reach at all time, even if it's just to twitter "Look at me! I'm playing Ski Ball!" to her friends. She started a personal blog, www.karlandkat.com in May 2005 that details her life from fiance to mommy. (Yes. A mom blog.)
