Professional:
After earning a Management Information Systems degree from the University of Tulsa, Karl moved to his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas to begin his career as a PeopleSoft developer for Stephens, Inc. In 2005, in addition to his job, Karl ventured into the website development world on a freelance basis by founding Simple Click Design. He has created a variety of amazing websites for great clients and is proud to say that most of his work has been based on referrals from happy clients. Karl has also been a part of the start-up community, helping to design and build complex and advanced web applications.
Personal:
Karl has completed two full marathons and several half marathons. He and his wife accidentally had a home birth with their first child, and Karl was the one to catch him... all while on his iPhone with the midwife. In his spare time, he listens to an inordinate amount of red dirt country and enjoys going to concerts with lyrics like, 'Jesus got my heart and whiskey got my liver'. He dreams of one day being a storm chaser but, so far, his wife won't let him.
